An unvented hot water cyclinder such as the Santon PremierPlus is ideal for households with a high hot water demand.
Many modern houses nowadays have more than one bathroom. They may also have en-suites or utility areas where washing machines and hot taps are used regularly.
Sometimes a combination boiler, which provides an instant single draw off hot water to tap - or indeed a standard cylinder boiler - may not be big enough to cope with the hot water demand.

Case study
The image below shows a Vaillant 630 sealed system boiler with a Santon 250-litre cylinder.
The pipe work installation below shows that the system has four zone valves – one to the cylinder and the other three to each respective area as required.
Each area controls its respective valve by individual TP 5000 wireless programmable thermostats, coupled with a three-way receiver, an RX 3. Each thermostat has its own channel.
